Hot Fun In The Summertime

People are often asking us where, in the tri-state area, is a fun place to get away for a nice summer weekend. Having just played our first show at Club Getaway in Kent, CT, we can heartily recommend the facility as a great escape for a 2- or 3-day break. Lots of activities ranging from very active to very inebriating, including cooking, DJing, hiking, beer pong, swashbuckling and acrobatics fill the days. And at night, they have an assortment of entertainments from bands to dance parties to campfires to, of course, Shake Rattle & Roll Dueling Pianos on select weekends.

Only 90 miles from NYC, some weekends are themed (Baby Boomer, Jewish, Sports...) but many are open to all. The age range was 20s-50s, and there were singles, couples and groups of friends.

We've never heard such a loud singalong to PIANO MAN as we heard when the 350 people at our show surrounded the stage and swayed in unison. Next time, maybe we'll see YOU there!
