Remember that chart-topper from Icona Pop called I LOVE IT? It spent 29 weeks on the charts last year. That was Charli XCX singing and co-writing it.

She also wrote/sang BOOM CLAP on the Fault In Our Stars soundtrack.

Ditto for FANCY, Iggy Azalea's rocket of a record currently atop the pop charts.

A year ago, no one knew her name.
