In Greenwich Village NYC, approximately two miles from the Shake Rattle & Roll Dueling Pianos office, an amazing discovery was made.

149 acetate records, made by Bob Dylan, were tucked away in a closet in an unassuming building at 124 Houston St. Forty years ago, the ground floor of that building was a recording studio apparently used by the legendary artist.

The recordings contain unreleased versions of songs from various albums during the 1969-1972 period, as well as outtakes, and covers of other songs, including RING OF FIRE and FOLSOM PRISON BLUES by Johnny Cash.

The recordings have been hailed as a major find. Considering that the original manuscript for LIKE A ROLLING STONE sold earlier this year for $2 Million, who knows what this treasure trove could ultimately be worth...
