I Wanna Be Sedated - This Will Make You Smile!

Sometimes we wish we had a video camera recording our NYC Dueling Pianos shows all the time. That way, we could catch all the awesome moments that sneak up on us.

This past Saturday was one such event. At the end of the show, when we still had a room full of wild & crazy singers, we opened the floor up to shout-outs for the last song of the night. One young gal bellowed, "SEND IN THE CLOWNS"!

Not exactly the most rock n roll-friendly song.

So, we gave it our Shake Rattle & Roll mash-up treatment.

And made a brand new Ramones' I WANNA BE SEDATED - Sondheim's SEND IN THE CLOWNS mash-up.

Unfortunately, we don't have the video for that one, but we came across this video this morning, from a recent Young At Heart concert. If you don't know them, they are a phenomenal choir made up of retirees, who get together and sing all the most outrageously awesome rock songs. Here is a clip from one of their concerts, where they sang I WANNA BE SEDATED. If this doesn't make you smile, you have a heart of stone.
