With a piano resume' that includes Eric Clapton, Black Crowes, Indigo Girls, The Allman Brothers, The Rolling Stones, and George Harrison, among others, Chuck Leavell has carved a thirty year career into the landscape of blues and Southern rock.

Landing his first recording sessions at the tender age of 15, he quickly became a piano force-to-be-reckoned-with from Muscle Shoals, AL to Macon, GA. Joining the Allman Brothers Band at 20, he played on such classic recordings as RAMBLIN MAN and JESSICA.

Beginning in the 80s, he was tapped to be the keyboard player for The Rolling Stones, a job he still holds today. Says guitarist Keith Richards: “Without the continuity that Chuck brings to us, the Stones would not be the Stones.”

In 1991-2, he played with Eric Clapton on three of his records that year, including the 24 Nights live recording made at the Royal Albert Hall in the UK.

And as if all of this didn't already make him cool, he is also outspoken as a conservationist, listing as his three loves, "my family, my trees and my music."
