Tony Bennett announces new jazz duets album with….WHOM??

The crooner of our time, Tony Bennett has officially announced that his new album, Cheek to Cheek, will be out Sept. 23.

That might be news on a mild day, but the fact that the album is a series of duets, and that his partner is none other than the Monster herself -- Lady Gaga -- makes this darn near earth shattering.

Or does it.

Say what you will about persona and marketing and image construction, but Miss Gaga certainly has chops, and musicianship.

And this won't be the first time they've dueted together - in 2011 they recorded THE LADY IS A TRAMP.

We've got a good feeling about this one, and anything that can push some boundaries and challenge both the artists and the listeners can't be a bad thing.
