Dueling Pianos shows are built on audience interaction, but this is something else...
This past Sunday night, in Carmel, IN, the audience at the Peter Frampton concert was told, as concert fans often are, about the prohibition against flash photography and video. But that didn't deter one couple in the front of the show, who insisted on repeatedly snapping footage on their cell phone throughout the night.
Mr. Frampton tried to gesture to them to stop, and also attempted to get security involved, all to no avail. The couple continued. Once the band had gotten into DO YOU FEEL LIKE WE DO?, one of his biggest hits, he had had enough. After leaving the stage in desperation, and returning only to be flipped off by the concertgoer, finally Peter asked if he could see the photos the couple had taken.
With phone in hand, he arced his arm back and flung the phone high into the rafters, to the cheering of the crowd.
Now, if only someone had taken video of the event...but that would have been way too ironic.
