Blurred Lines Lawsuit to Proceed, says Judge

Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams have lost the first round of their legal battle with the family of Marvin Gaye over copyright infringement on the 2013 hit song BLURRED LINES.
The judge said that Gaye's family "have made a sufficient showing that elements of 'Blurred Lines' may be substantially similar to protected, original elements of 'Got to Give It Up.'"
