What British Singer Katie Melua Found In Her Ear...

Word of warning to all traveling musicians - check your headphones.

Apparently, after The Itsy Bitsy Spider got finished crawling up the water spout, he found his way into the left ear of British singer Katie Melua, where he remained, for an entire week.

Really.

She believes the spider got there via some earbud headphones she was using on a flight. After a while, she started complaining of random shuffling noises in her ear. Afraid she might be losing her hearing, she finally got to a doctor, who discovered the tiny arachnid safe and sound inside her ear.

Happy endings all around, though. Katie's hearing is just fine, and the little critter was released into her garden, where he is now free to torment the ear canals of One Direction.
